I chose to dedicate my career to textured hair because I saw how many people had spent years feeling frustrated, misunderstood or simply told their hair was "difficult." It isn't. It just deserves a different approach.
My goal has never been to create perfect curls. It's to give you the knowledge, confidence and haircut that allows you to enjoy your natural texture every day— not just when you leave the salon.

Wavy hair has a gentle "S" shape and can range from soft bends to defined waves. It often benefits from lightweight moisture and styling products that enhance movement without weighing the hair down.

Curly hair forms springy spirals or ringlets and thrives on moisture. The right balance of hydration and hold helps curls stay defined, soft and full of life while reducing frizz.

Coily hair has the tightest curl pattern and is naturally more delicate. It loves moisture and gentle care to help maintain strength, definition and healthy, hydrated curls.

Bristol Pop-Up Salon
A few times a year, I head back to Bristol for a Sunday pop-up salon in Clifton.
These relaxed, one-day sessions are a great opportunity for existing and new clients in the South West to experience a Girl on Curl appointment without making the trip to Chesterfield.

Workshops
A few times a year I open the salon to qualified hairdressers who want to build their confidence and understanding of textured hair. These are small, hands-on workshops with a maximum of three stylists, giving everyone plenty of time to ask questions, learn and get involved. Over two full days, we'll cover the theory behind my approach, cutting and styling techniques, product knowledge, live demonstrations and practical model sessions. You'll watch two demonstrations, work with three models, and lunch is provided on both days. Textured hair is becoming more visible than ever, with more clients choosing to embrace their natural hair. Unfortunately, traditional hairdressing training often doesn't give textured hair the attention it deserves, leaving many stylists lacking confidence and many clients feeling misunderstood. My workshops are designed to help change that. They're open, honest and relaxed, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and understand not just how I do things, but why.
