Like many stylists, I was originally trained to cut all hair types using traditional methods. Over time, I realised that textured hair needed something different. It wasn't about forcing curls to behave; it was about learning how they naturally wanted to move.

In 2018 I immersed myself in textured hair education after being inspired by Lorraine Massey's approach to cutting, styling and caring for natural texture. I later trained with Lorraine herself, and that experience shaped the way I continue to work today.

My background in precision cutting, including intensive Vidal Sassoon training early in my career, gives me a unique combination of technical structure and curl-specific knowledge. Every haircut is individually designed around your texture, lifestyle and how your hair naturally lives— not how it behaves after hours of styling!

I'm passionate about education because I don't just want you to have a great hair day in the salon. I want you to understand your own hair, feel confident looking after it at home and finally enjoy wearing it naturally.
